Superior Hybrid Inverter

Using this hybrid inverter as a backup system in case our utility goes out and it has worked very well. To get some ROI, we wanted it to power some devices during the day and especially between 5pm and 8pm when our rates are at their highest, and switch back to AC power when the battery drops below 75% so we could do something Having energy. Backup for lights and electronics if we need it. We were able to adjust it exactly, hence the 5 stars. The screen shows the current operating mode, which is very easy to understand. For example, the picture shows that the electricity comes from the grid and the battery is charged by solar energy. However, programming was very difficult due to the very complex input system. You have 3 buttons to program more than 37 values and to get to one of them you have to scroll through all the previous ones. These are the same 2 buttons (top and bottom) to view different sensors. You have access to many readings such as battery voltage, PV output, voltage and current, output power, etc., but that also means cycling through 12 displays including those at the firmware level (e.g. a 24V input). , block 120V). This and the programming described above are areas for improvement. For those trying to set it up the same way, here are my settings for 24V solar PV and 24V LiFePo battery pack: * "Operating Mode Load" ([01]SOL): Solar first use, then battery, then grid * "Battery charging mode" ([06] OSO : Charge the battery with solar power only* "Battery-to-grid power setting" ([04] 25.2V) : When the battery is under this voltage drops, switch to mains power To my battery pack's 25.2V is 75%.Important: this is not stated in the manual, but you must set the "Battery Low Alarm" [14] higher than [04].If it is lower the system just ignores your setting for [ 04 ].To check scroll back to [04] and make sure it was applied correctly after setting the value. This really confused us at first. You can safely ignore the red Fail warning when this alarm goes off, we've disabled it beeps because this is part of our normal operation. compared to [04]. If the battery voltage exceeds this voltage, return to the main operating mode. In this case, use the solar panel first and then the battery. With my battery, 26.0 V corresponds to 90%.* "Battery type" ([08] LF08): Our battery comes closest to this parameter. Check your battery manual for correct values.* Low battery alarm ([14] 25.4V): Be sure to set this value higher than [04]. The default setting is only used if you want the battery to be fully discharged before switching to AC power.* Buzzer ([25] DIS): Disables the low voltage alarm. You'll definitely want to turn this off if the system alternates between solar and grid frequently, like ours. * "Alarm" ([26] DIS): This is an acoustic signal when switching from solar to grid or vice versa. We turned it off.

Pros
  • The 3000W 110V solar inverter has four optional charging modes, i.e. solar only, grid priority, solar priority and grid-solar hybrid charging; and two output modes are available, i.e. inverter and grid, to meet different application needs.
Cons
