Review on πŸ’‘ Dimmable Equivalent Standard Daylight Appliance: The Perfect Lighting Solution by Keith Morris

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Outstanding brightness. Little footprint. Unbelievable Savings

I made a pretty complete light switch in my house a few years ago (when CFLs got really popular). As I moved forward, I replaced more of the popular incandescent bulbs with LEDs to avoid the annoying "warm-up" phase with CFLs. Now that LEDs are ridiculously affordable I bought 2 packs to complete the rest of the house. man i was gone I ended up buying 4 more packs (6 total) and now I finally have all the lights out (most were still incandescent). It's not like it happens very often, but if all my lightbulbs were on for some reason I would now be using 180W instead of 2.16kW. I never calculated this and now that I have I realize how crazy it is. They are absolutely as bright as a 60 watt incandescent bulb. They're about 1/3 the size (so they'll fit in some fixtures that didn't previously use CFLs or traditional 60W LEDs). And think of all the heat I don't generate in the summer. This saves electricity in several ways. They are rated at 5W, while most 60W equivalent LEDs are around 8 or 9W. Like I said, I certainly don't see any difference (in brightness) with the bulbs I replaced, and they're also smaller than their 8 or 9 watt cousins. Couldn't be happier. Unless they all start fading in a week, which I don't expect.
