Review on American Valve PVC In-Line Check Socket Schedule 40, 2-Inch - PV32S by Jessie Zdunich

Bought this check valve to put on the end of my sewage mill. If you're a camper, you know what happens when you remove your chopper pump from your rig's dump port. If there is any gray water left in the hose (or worse!), it will all flow back to you from the pump. Anyway, put a check valve on the pump, and for the first time, hey! Presto! There are no more unaesthetic, inappropriate, uncomfortable backflows for the nostrils. Unfortunately the next time water ran out of the shed. It's a mat with a check valve! Maybe, just maybe, some solid particles of blackwater (ugh! disgusting!) got into the valve. But I've used it a few more times, each time ending up with gray water - still a holey back. Not a happy camper!
