Review on Unlocked AMD Ryzen 7 3700X: 8-Core,16-Thread Processor with Wraith Prism LED Cooler - Perfect for Your Desktop Needs! by Nguyn Th Bnh (Nht Ph ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Full compliance with the manufacturer's assurances, high quality.

Motherboard MSI X470 Gaming Pro Carbon (BIOS version 2. B0), TridentZ Neo 2x16Gb@3200\CL16 memory, EK water block (monoblock), D5 pump, two EK SE 360 radiators with EK Vardar 120mm. Power profile in Win - AMD Power Saver. Axis 10 Home, with all ates. The memory kicked in right away. Yes, this Vengeance LPX on B-die (2x8Gb@3600\CL16) also started right away (on R7 1800x it worked only on 3200\CL16). About voltage - if you really want to see how many volts there are in the protsik - download OCCT and look for VDD Node 0. Well, you can also navigate by Hong Kong Master - Average Core Voltage. About temperatures - almost all software shows some indecent temperatures. Even Ryzen Master. Below are screenshots of the OCCT test. Pump rpm ~ 1800 (34% PWM), fan rpm on radiators ~ 900 (20% PWM). This is at the level of "almost inaudible in a room with closed windows." Immediately after the start of OCCT, temperatures instantly jump to 66-68 degrees, by the end of the test they are fixed at 70-71. At the same time, the radiators are slightly warmer than room temperature. After turning off the stress test, the temperature drops to 35-40 degrees within 3-4 seconds. In games and any other load, Ryzen Master shows the same 66-70 degrees. Okay, in a simple way - everything is in order, nothing is fried there. In the 1800s, calmly under load, he heated a room of 15 squares in winter. 7600K with its boost during the stress test approached 90 degrees (and warmed the room, of course). Also below are screenshots from iCue, showing system consumption in idle (~75W) and under OCCT stress test (~140W). OCCT itself shows CPU consumption at 25-30W in idle and ~90W during stress test. Also below are the results of the FC New Dawn benchmark with 3200 Mhz and 2133 Mhz memory. Graphics preset - Ultra, Vsync off, Resolution Scaling = 1, resolution 3840x1080. A few final thoughts: For Igorians, it's probably better to take 3600 and invest the difference in price into memory or a video card . well, or into a tower from Noctua, to be sure that the stone does not heat up.

Pros
  • 1. Finally, Ryzen is good friends with memory. 2. Normal solder under the cap (hello blues!). 3. After the release of Zen 2, STEUD finally started to stir.
Cons
  • Acceleration - it seems to be there, but it’s as if it’s not there, and it doesn’t need to be nafig. This is NOT a disadvantage. IMHO, this is just a plus.
