Review on Optimized Wallet: Minimalist Credit Card Holder for Men - Stylish Wallets, Card Cases, and Money Organizers by Jimmy Montalvo

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Great wallet highly recommended

Update: I've been getting more and more frustrated with this wallet lately. The duct tape around the wallet remained strong, but the case's structural integrity deteriorated. Externally, the wallet case makes a decent impression, but has become weak due to the fact that the cards can be easily removed. I'm changing my rating from 4 stars to 2. I've had this wallet for about 3 weeks now and I'm so glad I chose it. I was hesitant to purchase such a wallet as the reviews and description suggest it can hold most cards. I was concerned about the minimum number of cards it can hold without slipping since I only have 3 or 4. With 4 cards it holds very securely. At 3 cards they start to come out and depending on how determined I am to shake the cards out they may fall out (this may be because the rubber band has adjusted to 4 cards since I first got it held 2 cards sure. Maybe I'll adjust this over time if I go back to 3 maps). I keep it in my back pocket at all times and its structural integrity and stitching are well preserved. I can barely feel this wallet in my pocket and I have to double-check to make sure I really have it. I bought the rustic brown and the color is almost the same as the picture, maybe a little darker. The only thing I took off a star for is the front money compartment, it's very narrow almost to the point where it's worth putting money in so I don't use it, and secondly it's pretty easy to mark, especially under the rubber band. Group.

Pros
  • Very happy with this wallet - works well, slim profile. what i was looking for
Cons
  • The RFID blocking function may not be needed in some places or situations.
