Now this product is berries. I use it for cherry pits and it works great. Here's how: Take two medium-sized bowls and place them side by side. Use the corer over the waste tray and squeeze the corer with your free hand. This protects you from splashes. Then turn the block sideways while holding it closed and if there is a hole for hanging, simply wipe the bottom with your free hand. Then move the pitcher over the other bowl and release. A pitted cherry will fall right into place. Once you learn it, it will greatly speed up the pitting process. (Toss cherries in saucepan with applesauce, honey, and gelatin, simmer 5 minutes, ladle into bowls, and refrigerate for a great dessert.)
