Lid looks solid. However, the buttons on the iPad are extremely difficult to use when the lid is on. The volume buttons can be operated, but with significantly more force and pressure than without a cover. The power button is so difficult to use that I ended up letting the iPad wake up automatically and not turn it off completely (this was a problem since I have an iPad in my bedroom and I usually turn it off completely). . at night to not hear the sound when receiving notifications). I am extremely disappointed. I ended up removing the lid and not using it, which was an expensive item that couldn't be used. Also, it seems like the window to get it back was only a month, which I didn't realize, so I'm now stuck with this expensive item I can't use.
