Makes replacing halogen bulbs easy
The trick is to press on the cap and add a twist to release the halogen bulb from the socket. This little suction cup gives you the ability to apply rotation in cases where the rim of the bulb cannot be gripped. I watched the flue installer struggle to fit the bulbs correctly. It took him over 30 minutes for the 4 bulbs followed by a colorful description of how to properly install each bulb. It was 5 years ago. I used this little tool and replaced all 4 lightbulbs in less than 5 minutes knowing the 'secret' above. It's worth the reasonable cost and suitability for the purpose.
