As an added bonus, your coffee will go from cold to hot in about 30 minutes. The only "downside" to this device is personal preference, I'm not a huge fan of the straight wooden handle on the mug. This makes the touch uncomfortable and if you're not careful your knuckles will touch the hot cup. In a future design, the handle should be slightly wider or curved to make it easier to grip. It's easy enough to get around and worth sipping hot coffee all day, but fixing that knob would make it the best-in-class device.
