I love these nail clippers. I've been terrified to clip my dog's nails (he's a German Shepherd with black nails) up until this point. The guard that keeps you from clipping too much at a time really puts my mind at ease. They feel very well crafted. The grips on the handles make them easy to hold onto. You do still need some hand strength to clip through thick nails, but it's manageable. My only complaint, and it is minor, is that the nail file doesn't stay in the handle very well. It falls out when I'm clipping my dog's nails, so I just end up putting it on the ground while I'm working. Other than that minor issue, I highly recommend these clippers. I'll never pay to have my dog's nails clipped again!
