The ideal of this maybe cute for photo shoots. However, for real purposes as an umbrella, it is unacceptable. I am planning to return 2 that were delivered yesterday. It was opened for inspection in hopes of being able to use it if necessary. However, after opening and examining it, it turned out that the size cannot offer protection from the rain, since the shape does not protect you over 360 degrees. The "lower" pointed part of the heart is completely invisible, as is the "cavity" where the curves of the heart's apex meet. The heart shape's appearance is difficult to discern unless it's actually lying on its side, showing that it's only meant to be used as a photo prop. The umbrella's natural state, whether it's fully covered at the top or slightly tilted, only shows that your umbrella is a small, oddly-shaped bright red umbrella. Again, if you're looking for $30 photo props, great. IF you are looking for a practical heart-shaped umbrella for rainy days, I don't see this as a practical umbrella, fashion accessory or not. It's your money, your choice.
