I bought this tire after my Futuro night tire had a habit of slipping or just didn't provide enough tension to keep my ankle straight. I wore it alone and while it helped relieve my foot pain, it woke me up several times during the night with stabbing pains in my toes, mainly my big toe, until I started taking it off in the middle of the night. I returned to my Futuro and had the same problems as before, so I decided to combine the two. It was a great ideal. The Strassburg sockliner provides just enough support to keep me from stretching my leg in my sleep, while the Futuro hoop relieves pressure on my toes while elevating the ball of my foot. 1 star off for toe pain.
