Review on Carhartt Womens Shoreline Jacket Regular by Anthony Hales

Ordered XXL (I usually wear XL) in black. Although I could have gone for size XL, I'm glad I'm size XXL so I can wear a sweatshirt and thick fleece underneath. Also, I still prefer it when it's a little looser. Put that coat on! It's worth every penny. Because of the way it's constructed I should live with it for many years. What I like: 1.) The arms fit perfectly in both width and length. 2.) Great for my shoulders and chest. I don't feel restricted. 3.) It's longer in the back so it covers my butt. 4.) It closes with zippers and buttons! 5.) The material makes a durable impression. It's kind of like a tarpaulin, but not rigid.6,) The top isn't just for beauty. It really works. and it is detachable. Although I see no need to separate it as it lays flat. 7.) Pockets! Pockets everywhere! 8.) It's dressy enough for me to wear to the office, but sturdy enough to wear to the field. 9.) It has sleeves with thumbholes, but they are not stiff and slide back easily. Sleeves for when you don't want to use them and they're out of the way. 10.) This is a raincoat. Very stylish and functional raincoat. But also a winter coat, I think. I wear fleece underneath in winter. What I don't like about it: 1.) Nothing. I have nothing bad to say about this coat! Thank you Carhartt for making clothes for us women! UPDATE: Three years later. I still love this coat and wear it almost every day during the fall, winter and spring months here in Texas. While it's not a winter coat per se, you can layer fleece underneath and still use it as a winter coat. Why? Because outside it not only does a great job in the rain, but also in the wind! Surprisingly, there's more wind in Texas than anywhere else, and it's right through you. But wear this coat? No problem! You stay warm and cozy. I've also washed it several times (hang to dry - no drying) and it's holding up like new. I'm considering buying a different color. I really want green but it's sold out. Please fill up and I will buy it! :)
