I am very satisfied with this purchase. It's amazing to get a device at such an affordable price that filters out industrial and commercial contaminants like pesticides, mercury and lead, as well as parasites and common taste-degrading substances like chlorine and particulate matter. The above sink fittings are made of high quality polished chrome and look very neat. I had more trouble installing the unit than most other people who left comments, probably because I had to use 1/2" to 3/8" adapters. They were a bit tricky to install properly with no leaks. Be sure to use Teflon tape on all connections, attach the first adapter to the cold water line and tighten BEFORE installing the diverter valve. You will understand what I mean when you receive the device and lay out the parts. THEN, once the valve is tight, attach the second adapter to the other end. Ease of installation can also depend on what's under your sink and where (e.g. garbage disposal in relation to the hole the spout needs to go through). However, once installed the job is done and you only need to replace the filter when the light turns red. It's great knowing you're drinking clean, healthy water at a fraction of the cost of more expensive filtration systems!
