Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm a beginner welder with some experience but not often enough to master it.

When I bought welding devices, I initially decided on a helmet from my own brand. I'm a novice welder with some experience but not often enough to get good at it. I thought my skills weren't as good as I remembered because the consistency of the weld quality was poor and frustrating me. I realized that if I could see better while welding, maybe I could improve my game. I did some research and decided on the Antra brand. Far from the most expensive, but still highly rated. I thought why not try it for the price and if it's not what was said maybe I can return it. Well I am very happy with the improvement in weld quality. As they say, it's like day and night. A clear view of the work in actual welding is remarkable. You might be able to get even better image quality if you spend a lot more, but for me this gear is great for this range. But for an amateur, I don't think that's a factor. The adjustment of the hood is excellent, fits snugly on the head, does not fall off. One more thought on the "Reliability" issue. When you hold the device in your hand it can be judged as flimsy, light etc. but I think this construction depends on you standing upside down to full construction strength, in other words if all Parts work together, in my opinion, it's pretty tough. Opinion.

Pros
  • Welding helmets
Cons
  • without device
