We got this when our son was 10 months old - at the time I wished he had leg room as he couldn't reach the pedals. Other brands had it but didn't have higher quality tires like this one. Our little one is now 16 months old and can reach the pedals or put his feet on the red part that covers the front wheel. It is easy to use and we can walk on any surface - mulch, wet, wet grass, dry grass, sidewalk, sidewalks. That's great! The drink holder is a nice feature: it fits most spill-proof mugs, and the holder on the back is great for a hat or cell phone. The height is good for my 6 foot husband to steer without bending over. I would buy it again and am happy with my purchase.
