I am very frustrated I have waited so long to try this product. The design is terrible, to get the ground grains out of the container you have to turn the whole block upside down - it doesn't come out of the base so it's very inconvenient. First, the coffee beans were ground well. It is designed for a purpose but fails miserably. The blades aren't actually blades at all, and are about as blunt as the handle of a regular spoon or fork. They literally have no cutting/grinding ability. Also, the engine is incredibly weak. I loaded about 1/2 inch of beans and heard the motor rev up to full speed very slowly over the course of about 30 seconds. That thing is so weak. Realizing I wasn't getting anything a little over a minute later, I opened the lid to inspect the beans. At the same time, the smell of burnt plastic struck me. That's it. A mixture of semi-finished products was created. - ground beans that I just threw away (along with the device) because I knew there was no point in brewing them. *Don't* spend your hard-earned money on this coffee grinder.
