There are several sizes of this tool and I opted for the one that will cut up to 2.5 inches of pvc. This thing is powerful and cuts all my pvc with ease. In hindsight, however, I wish I opted for the small version of this tool that cuts up to 1 inch as this thing is too big to cut sprinkler pvc in the ground unless I make the hole very big. For all above ground cutting needs, this is the tool for you. For sprinkler help, get the smaller version. As a brand, I can recommend.
