Review on HUAWEI FreeBuds 3i wireless headphones, ceramic white by Stanislaw Kobylka (S ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Average quality of the product, especially for the money.

Despite the fact that I gave 3 stars, the headphones themselves are not bad. I like them for convenience and sound, and this is half the important thing for headphones. But the shortcomings described above were very upsetting and, frankly, "ate" the joy of buying. The company writes that it guarantees work only with its smartphones. Then the question arises - why is this not written in "capital letters", for example, in compatibility. Nowhere, after all, there are indications that with smartphones from other companies and with computers you can get a bunch of problems. It turns out that for 6000 you bought a rather “stripped down device”, in the sense that outside the Huawei / Honor ecosystem no one guarantees simple stable operation. Unfortunately, the 14 days for the return have already passed, I did not have time to return them before that and I'm not sure that I can achieve something from the examination On advice from w3bsit3-dns. Com, I changed the codec to AAC, but this did not help with stuttering. Codecs other than SBC and AAC are not supported, unfortunately. In AIMPe, it seemed that there were fewer breaks than in the native Samsung player, but they can appear in other places, even where everything played fine last time. That is, the application does not particularly affect anything. If you hold the phone in your hands and do not put it in your pocket, there are almost no cliffs, but as soon as you remove all this rigmarole begins. Maybe instead of a simple adapter, you need a bluetooth board and then there will be no such jambs with the computer. Anything is possible, but that's not the point. I'll leave them in this case for listening to music only in the computer / home application on the phone, but it's clear that this is a very limited scenario. I can’t advise them to anyone, unfortunately I won’t buy Huawei headphones anymore

Pros
  • Bought for wife. Feedback from her The sound is very pleasant for me - clear, sonorous (there is no feeling of deafness, "woolness" as sometimes happens), voices do not interfere with porridge, instruments are well audible, specifically I have no unpleasant sensations from "s" and "c" but I'm not an audiophile but I just like to listen to music They sit well in my ears, I have small auricles, the default ear pads fit well, do not fall out, do not crawl when walking. Well assembled, there are no burrs, cracks, nothing catches or scratches, the cover is also neatly made, there are no notches / scratches / cracks Noise cancellation in the metro works well, but not aggressively, you can easily listen to music at a not very high volume. Walking outdoors comfortably without noise reduction Convenient compact case, it is convenient to get and put away the headphones, even to the touch. Honest three hours of music plus fast recharging from the case (20-25 minutes) two or three times is very cool Ears don't hurt at all If you listen to music on your phone at home or on a bus, subway, in a store, etc. or on a computer in the application without pausing and without leaving, everything is OK, no dumps / breaks
Cons
  • And here are two points for each of which I lowered the score by a point The first is that when you go out into the street, dumps and "stuttering" begin in some places. For example, near one of the stores (about 4-5 meters) they "stutter" 20 times, but there is no complete break, the sound "stammers" and continues, but it's terribly annoying. It cannot be said that this is due to buildings, because sometimes in the same place on an open street where everything was normal, the next day "stuttering" begins I heard about such a problem with xiaomi, but I have a samsung s20fe and there is the same problem, alas. If you want to listen to music together on the street, problems also arise from time to time. Let's say you have an earpiece in your left ear, the satellite has it in the right, then so that there are no gaps, you need to go so that the headphones are, as it were, "between you". If you go as usual (people "between" the headphones), then even when you tilt and turn your head, there may be breaks. At the same time, everything is fine in the shopping center, in the store - you can walk as you like and go quite far The second point - if on a computer (Win10 at least, bluetooth adapter from Asus) you don’t just turn on the application with music and listen, but let’s say periodically pause the music in the player for some reason or pause the music, decide to listen to YouTube, then headphones may fall off. Moreover, this happens in two stages - at the first moment, the system shows that the headphones are connected, but there is no sound, and after 10-15, the headphone control panel will finally display that the connection is broken. And before it seems, it does not help to force disconnect and connect - in fact, they will not connect. As a result, listening to music turns into a lottery - once everything works fine, another time you connect 10 times. Sometimes when you go outside you enjoy the music, and sometimes you suffer from "stuttering" I admit that this is a glitch of my particular instance. Of the less critical - stably one earphone is discharged faster by 20 percent, but sometimes the difference is more significant - 25-40 percent
