The camera is little over two years old and has experienced everything, including rain, snow, sand, and a 35-degree frost. The battery, like all the others, lasts much less in the cold. However, the battery will survive for three months if you use it as you intended, take a dozen shots, and then put it away for a week. The picture's quality is very acceptable. You can shoot in JPEG, RAW, or a combination of JPEG and RAW. Using a Kitovskiy 18-55 lens, I shot it at 24 megapixels. I didn't think twice about my purchase. After purchasing a soap dish for 10,000, I could see the difference right away. Check the manufacturer before purchasing. There are two choices: Thailand and Toli Malaysia, Toli Japan. In general, people claim that the second choice is preferable, though it is unclear why.
