Review on πŸŽ’ Razer Concourse Pro 17.3" Backpack: Durable Tear-Resistant Design, Convenient Front Utility Flap, Scratch-Proof Interior, Padded Mesh Straps - Fits 17 inch Laptops - Classic Black by Melinda Coleman

Nice backpack for a 17 " gaming laptop.

The Razer Concourse Pro 17.3" backpack is very roomy and fits most 17" gaming laptops up to 2-3 depending on thickness. I have an Alienware m17.R3 and it fits like an inner bag as well as large pockets with plenty of room to manoeuvre. The inner laptop pocket only has a half zip so it doesn't open all the way, personally I would prefer a full zip.The material is solid and feels durable, definitely thicker than a regular school backpack but smaller than a proper padded computer bag, in my opinion it could have had more padding, but you can always do it yourself The laptop pad offers much more protection and security if you travel a lot and carry it around with you. It's pretty light in weight, overall it's heavier than a normal school backpack, but not by much. I think they go well together in function and material because it's lighter than it looks, but it seems like it offers some protection to my laptop. It features MOLLE webbing so you can attach items and expand storage space, law enforcement and military use it. The bottom is made of a stronger material so it can withstand being dragged across the floor and provide some protection from falls. There are straps at the bottom for securing and adjusting the slack if you need more or less storage. The large compartment has multiple sections that can hold a variety of items, overall I think they did a good job, more zippered compartments would have been preferable. Overall I think this is a solid product and would recommend it to the average consumer, but someone who travels a lot might prefer a bag/backpack with more padding and a more TSA friendly design. Also note that I bought it when it was on sale. The full MSRP price is a bit high for what you get in terms of functionality and design in my opinion.

Pros
  • Ripstop knit-lined interior For durable, scratch-resistant compartments: Durable, lightweight fabric with a smooth surface makes loading and unloading gear easy, and soft lining protects more delicate items from scratches.
Cons
  • Security
