Review on 📸 PTX21720 - Pentax SMC PENTAX DA 55-300MM: Captivating Telephoto Lens for Stunning Photography by Shawn Tolbert

I'm not a professional photographer, but I know good glass when I see it and this lens is good glass. At 300mm it is capable of producing crisp images with a bokeh effect. As mentioned in other reviews it doesn't come with a hood which is quite unfortunate but with the money you save buying a DA-L over a DA you can easily afford a decent hood. It's also a shame that the price of this lens has increased significantly since I bought it in May 2011 and is now much closer to the price of the Pentax DA 55-300mm f/4-5.8 ED lens for Pentax and Samsung Digital. SLR cameras so you can save a few extra pennies and buy that lens.
