I am preparing a guest room for my parents. It's not luxury, but definitely better than staying in a hotel. My guest room used to be my daughter's room. I am upgrading all the beds and started with a mattress topper. That's great. It has really deep pockets and fits as expected. However, what was unexpected for the price was how soft and fluffy it is. I followed the directions and let it fluff up in the sun. That's great. It's like one of those super soft hotel beds that cost a fortune. It's definitely an improvement over the old quilted cover I'm replacing. I think the living room bedding has seen many improvements since it was purchased. Now I feel the need to treat myself and buy one for my bed and my husband's. I didn't know what we were missing, but I will definitely never be able to "not feel" this luxury.
