This kit, especially the wire crimp tool, is VERY handy. Now I understand why OEMs use spring clips. In the case of channel locks or similar, these clips are removed by PITA. It's very easy with this tool, and with the locking feature, it's easy to align, center, move, and then release the clamp in the right place. Without tools, the spring clamp goes in the trash and the worm clamp goes in place, and when the rubber hose is loosened, the connection flows. With spring clamps, the spring compresses further as the rubber relaxes, so you still have a solid connection. Spring clamps can be easily processed with this tool. I've used it on a Jeep XJ Cherokee but heck those clips are everywhere so it'll have plenty of uses. Happy I bought this.
