This is a very thoughtful, artistically designed book with beautiful, colorful illustrations. This is a good book for beginners and those with some experience. What a wonderful book for mothers and daughters who are both becoming seamstresses. There are many covered projects with different techniques, all well explained and illustrated (easy to follow). This book brought me back to much earlier memories of my grandmother and mother's sewing machines, pins, pin cushions, needles, spools of thread, bobbins, buttons and zippers, and a crude ironing board.
