The bag seems high quality. I've been using it for a few weeks now. I bought the 14 inch to hold my Surface Pro. There is about 2 inches of play on the side when I put it in the bag, which I think is perfect. The soft padded inside is real nice too. I put a surface charger in the bag along with a a larger headset that folds flat (Plantronics Focus). It fits a ton for the size, but it does start to look bulked out if you over do it.There is a large pocket on either side that hides the smaller handles if you want, but also can hold chargers, cables, and a lot of others stuff. The smaller external zipper pockets on one side along and slot pocket are fairly useless because they are too deep and narrow. For example if I put some business cards or a small wired earphones in the small pockets, it falls to the bottom and its pretty tough to get them out with the narrow opening.I mainly use it for day trips to visit customers, and I like that I don't have some bulky, heavy shoulder bag anymore, when usually I’m just taking notes from my Surface while onsite.Keep in mind that this product comes in different sizes, so measure the width of your laptop or tablet, decide how much extra width you want on the side, then select the closest bag size when ordering.
