We have been using this collar for a while now and cannot put into words how great it is. We have a black puppy who is now 3 months old. Before we got the collar our pup was out of control and unresponsive to commands and we couldn't leave him off leash because he would run away. I started by taking her out into a large field and taking her off the leash. It started taking off and I used the vibrate function at 50%. She immediately turned and walked towards me. Then I would walk with her and every time she started walking far I would just use a beep and she would come back to me. She stayed by my side for about 15 minutes as I walked through the forest. We have a major freeway that borders our property and we walked through the woods just 50-100 feet from the freeway and she stayed right next to me. So far we have only had to use the horn function and have never had to use a stun gun except once when I accidentally shocked myself while adjusting the collar. It was nice to hear the dog experience the shock, so give it a try if you're brave. Since then we've been using the horn for all types of workouts and it works great. She no longer jumps at people when they enter the house. She no longer jumps on the couch. She doesn't hunt cats. She doesn't gnaw furniture and many other bad habits are gone. The charge lasts incredibly long. We had her in a pond on our property and taught her to play in the water and the collar was on her all the time and no problem. To be honest I haven't had any issues with this collar and would recommend it to anyone who has a dog or puppy that needs training.
