Not what I was hoping for.

These boots are a good height but I had to pull the straps quite tight to fasten them. My horse is not too big, but wears large athletic boots. I froze the boots overnight and put them on the next day after walking. Leave them in place for about 20 minutes. Outside it stayed cold, but inside (next to my horse's skin) it warmed to body temperature. They didn't cool his legs at all. So I would save money and buy another shoe.
