Shrink in washing on my review.
These are very nice pants but my husband could only wear them once. I washed them in cold water, tumbled dry for 10 minutes and then hung them up to dry the rest of the way. The length shrunk a good 2 inches and are not unwearable as they hit just at the ankle bone to begin with. (5' 8" size medium) Big disappointment. Waste of money :-(
