My daughter and I are still new to this hobby, and so far this resin is the best we've tried. The one from Hobby Lobby has a STRONG musty/moldy odor and this does not. We don't use any special procedures for removing bubbles, and I still find very few in the items we've made so far. We've found that if the mix ratio is correct, 1 to 1 using volume (ml or fl oz) , then the finished product is hard, clear, and sets in about 8 hours as advertised. Recently, we purchased silicone molds for a solid cube, sphere, pyramid, and gem shape that require a pour around 3 to 4 inches deep, and these also surprisingly set solid in 8 hours. We live in an area of high humidity, and items have set equally well left out:a) overnight when the ambient temperature is around 75-80, at around 80% humidity,b) on the top shelf of a dark closet with no climate control, andc) near a window on nights where the windows were open, humidity low, and temps dropped into low 50's.With the flat items like notebook covers and coasters, they should be left to lay flat for about 24 hours after removing from the mold in most cases, because they may slowly warp otherwise, especially when using powder pigment. All in all, 10/10 will purchase again! Dries clear, low odor, easy to use, love it!
