Of course there are many things in this film that you might not like. There is nothing wrong with the film itself. It is content that is extremely disturbing. To watch the soldiers "treat" the Indians, and in the horrible way they did it, is demoralizing to say the least. The fact that the leaders of the troops were all in favor of this extermination of the native Indians puts the entire US military to shame, then and now. What struck me the most was the fact that some of the soldiers were visibly shocked by what was happening but did nothing to stop the massacre of the victims, innocent men, women and children. Any member of this group who took part in this attack was to be captured and killed, regardless of their rank. If the film is based on fact and real truth then it should certainly be recognized as one of the most heinous horror crimes the US has ever committed. See this movie for yourself and dare to tell me I'm wrong.
