I wore a cardiac event monitor for a week and used these sheets to protect the monitor from too much water exposure when I showered. The 5" x 5" sheets were not long enough to cover the entire monitor, but I turned the sheet to place it on my chest in a diamond shape with a corner facing up. The shower water ran over the sheet and did not soak the monitor. I got no leakage that way. The adhesive worked well after pressing down on it for about a minute before exposing it to water. I did get a bit of a rash from the adhesive after using the sheets nightly for a week, but this happens when I use Band-aids too. My skin is just sensitive like that. The rash cleared in about a week's time.
