They totally exceeded my expectations. I have had a pair of Etymotic ER6i's for many years and they have never let me down. I like the Etymotic headphones for their excellent noise isolation. They require deep insertion into the ear canal, but it's worth it. There are several types of ear tips for comfort, and you will find the best fit by experimenting. This is the SE version and if you want more bass choose the XR set. I have several Cowon DAPs and can fine-tune bass and bass to my liking. The cables are interchangeable, a big plus since they are standard. Well they stink. They can hear a noise when they are brushed or rubbed. I bought some balanced ones and the sound is amazing. I have very expensive Campfire headphones and am always afraid of losing them. These are my new headphones and they should fit yours too. It was worth it.
