Review on 👜 Radley London Apsley Road - Flapover Shoulder Bag by Christine Ellis

I can't tell you how happy I am with this Radley London Apsley Road bag! That was a bit of a gamble as there isn't much info here on the exact size or look of the interior. I usually carry a black leather shoulder bag as I usually carry a lot of other things and want my hands free - a lunch bag for work; shopping bags; I'm holding on to a child's hand and I love a roomy bag as I feel the need to take my life with me! As it turns out, lately I've felt the need to cut down and minimize. While not small, the Apsley Road Bag is modest in size, easy to handle and not bulky, but has enough space for everything you need. First the style: very clean lines but not simple; really nice structure but not rigid; modern yet classic; elegant and noble, but not uptight. He's so versatile. I don't hesitate to take it to a company meeting or sling it over my shoulder on the way to a workout. It doesn't feel overdone or underpowered, instead making a quality statement. Quality: The skin is so beautiful. It is soft but durable and feels comfortable. The gold embossed logo is nice and doesn't look like it will peel or fade. The workmanship is excellent - very well sewn and the bevels on the edges of the leather are perfectly finished. There is also a clean embossed edge around the perimeter of the front flap. The hardware has a nice mid-gold tone and feels heavy. The zippers, rivets and clasp work perfectly. The signature lining is very nice - I like that it's not black and contrasts with my content. The underside of the flap is made of high-quality imitation microsuede. Contents: A flat open back pocket (handy for quick-access items like a phone or keys); two inner pockets with folds, about the size of a mobile phone and sunglasses; a flat zippered pocket on the inside back for small items you don't want to roll around like tampons or medication; an open compartment with a flat bottom as the main compartment. The valve closes the top completely, protecting your contents from prying eyes, rain or accidental spills. Size: The width is about 10 inches at the top and 11 inches at the bottom outside; 7.5" tall, about 3-3.5" deep or narrower at the top when you have the side latches closed. The length of the drop from the top of the bag to the handle is approximately 8.5 inches. Comfort: Two rounded leather straps lie comfortably on the shoulder. If I put one on top of the other, it doesn't slip off when worn. Extras: Scotty's little dog keychain is adorable, the pink dust bag is much appreciated. deserves a place in your wardrobe and will work well for its versatility and quality. I've been using mine every day this week and it's already gotten a lot of compliments!
