Review on Bosch SP0F000041 Electrical Pressure Chrome by Joe Olson

This oil pressure sensor has worked fine for me for about a year. At the time it seemed pretty accurate. Matches the mechanical gauge very well, but now it reads either 0 or 12psi on startup and never goes above 25psi. I was concerned that I had a mechanical problem with the engine, but the mechanical pressure gauge showed the oil pressure was normal. I'm not sure if it was a problem with the transmitter or the meter itself. It looks really nice and electrical gauges are easier to use in my opinion. So if you think you won't need it for long, great! Otherwise, choose a mechanical version (which is cheaper) or try another brand.
