Great ideas and a great springboard for creativity in your own creations.

I am teaching one of our teenage daughters how to sew. I have found that most beginners can only follow the pattern strictly. This book contains some very cute ideas to expand your comfort zone and encourages creativity that seems like a leap of faith to most beginners. I would recommend it to anyone, although the book is aimed at young women, we older girls can use some of the ideas if we tweak them a bit. This is the best book on skirts I've found. I like it better than the book about Burda's skirts and much, much more than "We sew something for skirts". There are all main styles: A-line, pencil skirt,

Very outdated styles. Young sewers who need this kind of instructions do like the styles.
