Why do they even come with plastic?
I don't know why furniture even comes with the plastic releases, they always break!This is a nice, heavy-duty metal one -> it's what should've been on it originally!Installed easily. One caveat - there's a small wire clip that holds the cable in place, it was just loose in the plastic wrapping and I almost missed it and threw it away - look for it and keep track of it until you get the release installed.
