I made a backlit multilayer shadow block with this plate. It's thin, as you'd expect from a £65 card. It lets in a little light which was the purpose of its purchase. However, I used at least 2 sheets for each layer as this cardboard is very fibrous. It breaks when used in a cutting machine. I use cricut. I switched to a new blade, new mats (light and standard grip) and even used an old strong grip that has lost most of its stickiness. I've also experimented with different material settings on my machine to change the pressure to cut. It's hit or miss in the settings. Definitely not for detailed or complex cutting on a cutting machine. In the end he did his job; However, for my 5-ply project, I had 7 extra sheets from this brand new 25-sheet pack. Now I'm back at Revain and looking for the best option for my future projects.
