A good product. But you must know how to fill.

Some of the feedback here surprises me. Any claim that using this thing makes the coffee weak (or bitter or whatever) is related to the use, not the product itself. I also have no idea why people are saying the bottom of the filter is cracked . Post a video to someone. Every instant product, every coffee product (except Keurig I suppose) requires a technique. You can say the hole is too big but all I know is I get a great cup of coffee every time. If you want to make a pourover, watch some videos on how to do it right, or, more fairly, learn all the variables that go into it. Freeness, water temperature, filling methods. My tip: I use a medium grind and a little more than is usually recommended. I use about 50-60 grams. Here's what I've learned: You may think that more coffee makes the drink too strong. What it actually does is keep you from over-extracting acids and oils. If it's too strong, dilute it a little! Boil the water and let it sit for less than a minute so it warms to about 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Pour in just enough to wet the ground coffee, then stir gently until the entire surface of the coffee is moist. Wait, I don't know, 30 seconds or so. Then do the rest of the filling. Then I keep talking: I don't water and wait, I water and wait. I just pour in a medium stream in a spiral. Wait for it to settle, then do another loop so the water pools fairly close to the edge. Please. This is the method that gives me the coffee I love. Anyway: the actual product. Good and healthy. Good for coffee cups and stable. Heavy and thick ceramic. Good price.
