I decided on this particular product over the other options mainly because of the hose length. I used to have a handshower with a 5’ hose and constantly found it difficult to reach under my puppy or spray that corner of the tub that needs spritzing.The 3 extra feet is worth it - I never feel like I am running out of hose when bathing my puppy and never have that jarring yank when I am going for some suds in the corner.Install is easy and fast, although YOU WILL NEED A TOOL, like a wrench to loosen your existing shower head and to tightly install it back again. Other than that, yes, everything is a breeze.A couple of things to realize: the diverter is up at the shower head, so depending on how high the head is and how tall you are (my shower head is high and I am not super tall), you might have to step up on the tub to reach this.The sprayer holder attaches with screws, not adhesives (it probably could be adhered, it’s just not an included option) so unless you plan on screwing through tile or grout, your best bet is to attach to the drywall which might be outside your tub. This is what I did, and to be honest, with an 8’ hose, it wasn’t an issue except for 2 things:Remember to keep the sprayer set to off ALL THE TIME - I made the mistake of switching that diverter with the sprayer on and yes, all of my bathroom outside the tub was soaked as the sprayer was aimed towards the area outside the tub.Keep the mounting height high to create that low point on the hose inside the tub, otherwise, while you shower, the water will travel down the hose and out your tub.I am pleased with what it promised it would do. I only wished I didn’t have to access that diverter so high up there - not a treat for people under 5’4”.
