Review on Waterproof Dog Training Collar - Petrainer PET616A-2 Remote Electric Collar for Dogs with Beep Vibrate Static - Rechargeable Dog Training Collar by Monique Andino

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The best remote control I've tried. Less risk of accidentally pressing keys.

I use it for 2 dogs. One dog needs more correction than the other, so I removed the contacts from one collar and added a drop of blue Loctite to the other so as not to lose the contacts because they continued to malfunction. The collar only vibrates and beeps when the pins are removed so I don't correct the wrong dog too much. You have to wake up the remote control and then switch numbers from one dog to another. So if someone is chasing your chickens, don't react and accidentally kill the wrong dog. Note: The more you correct your dog, the sooner you need to charge your devices. BEST FUNCTION: The buttons on the remote control are recessed instead of protruding, so you don't have to correct your dog when he doesn't need it. I used to have another one, and it was so small and laceless that I had to put it in my pocket and when I leaned against something, the buttons clicked. I can't tell you how awful! This went in the trash. The downside: if you haven't used it for a while it goes to sleep (to save battery I think), so if your dog is after your chickens you'll have to wake him up first to use it. It's worth it in comparison to many others Note: Please use it wisely. Before each use of a device, find out about the training. In my case it helped a lot, I don't think I could have taught my adopted Pitbull not to kill my chicks without him and now she has a great memory. If I don't see her, I just give her a signal and she will come running. Hope that helps.
