So this dog seat cover is well made and fits well but I can't use it because of the strong petrochemical smell. I should have listened to the reviews that came out, but there were so many positive reviews that I ordered it anyway. When I first opened the package I was quite surprised by the smell but thought it would dissipate. I washed it and aired it in the garage for about 3 months but the smell is still very strong. Unfortunately, I overlooked the return window when airing. I can't understand why the smell doesn't bother more people; The only thing I can think of is that they are made in different factories and the smell is very different. The one I have is useless.
