Review on 🔧 ACDelco GM OE 15-72971 Temperature Mode Valve Actuator Assembly by Alex Montgomery

While my husband is a mechanic I watched some YouTube videos on replacing this part and decided I could actually do it myself. I recorded the instructions from the video and was able to replace the part myself. The only tricky part I could spot when replacing it was making sure you set the air temp with a small toothed mirror to see how the little dial would line up at 12:00 before taking the old one off and that insert new ones. Of course you have to disconnect the battery and there are other steps to turn the key to the on position etc. to restart the computer etc. Just write down the steps and follow them. But it was easy. The part works great and I saved a lot of money! I think I bought it for $83+ and the parts store wanted about $275. This part says OEM. My air conditioner works great!
