Regarding the realm of music, these ears came as a pleasant surprise; they produce a beautiful sound that is on par with that of high-quality, high-priced wired earbuds. The sound is full, the bass is well defined and has just a touch of emphasis, and the high frequencies are audibly distinct and quite precise. The headphones come with a wide variety of equalizer settings, but I did not feel the need to use any of them because the sound quality of the headphones in their factory setting is really satisfying. Before making my purchase, I compared the quality of the sound to that of the more affordable QCY Q29 as well as the more expensive Apple AirPods. In terms of sound, it found out that Sony was miles ahead of the competition and offered an entirely different quality. It turned out that the silicone ear pads that came with the headphones were too tiny for my ears, so I had to use the ear pads from another pair of headphones instead. Because this is an entirely personal experience and because it occurred to me in conjunction with other ears, I do not record it as a deficiency. The noise cancellation feature is not particularly powerful, but it does work, and using it is extremely helpful when traveling on the metro. At the very least, the noise isolation is an order of magnitude greater than what you get with AirPods, making it an improvement above the QCY headphones that were discussed. I use it with a Samsung Galaxy S7 smartphone, and when I enable the AAC codec, the connection quality is perfect no matter where I am: at home, on the street, or in the metro. Only once, while the smartphone was on the other side of a concrete wall from me, did I have a brief disruption in the connection in one of my ears. The call participants did not express any dissatisfaction with the quality of the dialogue that took place throughout the session. There is a lag in the sound that can be clearly heard, and if I had to guess, I'd say it lasts for around half a second. If you use a player that has delay correction, you will be able to watch video. It's not a good idea to play games or watch YouTube videos. I would recommend someone with exceptional ears for music in general.
