Review on TrickleStar Advanced PowerTap Secondary Protection by Randy Butler

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Well, if the stereo doesn't have a switch.

I purchased this item to use on some of the fans in my home entertainment closet in the living room. I have a stereo and other equipment in the closet, but my receiver didn't have a switched output to connect fans or a subwoofer. This item has two switched outlets, one always on and one control. The stereo system is connected to the power tap and when switched on, the switched outputs become active. There is a switch that chooses between two control currents to disable the switched outputs. There the sensitivity switches between 18W and 35W.

Pros
  • F-Cable / DSS Surge Protector <48dB Noise Filtering
Cons
