Ultimate Surge Protection for Computers

This power strip provides peace of mind when it comes to protecting your valuable electronics. The secondary protection is a game changer and the sleek design fits seamlessly into any workspace. The timing function is a great feature, but the price point is somewhat high compared to other options on the market.

Pros
 • provides advanced surge protection for sensitive electronic devices
Cons
 • Makes me angry

Well, if the stereo doesn't have a switch.

I purchased this item to use on some of the fans in my home entertainment closet in the living room. I have a stereo and other equipment in the closet, but my receiver didn't have a switched output to connect fans or a subwoofer. This item has two switched outlets, one always on and one control. The stereo system is connected to the power tap and when switched on, the switched outputs become active. There is a switch that chooses between two control currents to disable the switched outputs…

Pros
 • F-Cable / DSS Surge Protector <48dB Noise Filtering
Cons
 • Quality

A good product. for surge protection

I bought this item as a universal surge protector. However, I use it as a network filter for my wireless router, cable modem, media server and printer. The only downside to all of this is that the RJ45 ports are NOT capable of handling gigabit speeds. If you run an ethernet cable from the modem to the surge protector, and then from the surge protector to the wireless router, you're only getting 100Mbps. So if that's a downside for you, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. I just decided not to use…

Pros
 • surge protection RJ11/45 computer/telephone/fax
Cons
 • The list is long.
