Review on πŸ”‹ XCSOURCE Waterproof Universal Digital Display Voltmeter - Blue LED Voltage Meter for 12V-24V DC Car Motorcycle Auto Truck BI313 by Chris Wagner

It is important to know. For reference

It's a nice little gauge but it didn't last a day. I put it on my 1967 Honda 305 CL77 and apparently the power surge blew. I think a built in shunt resistor is needed to protect these LED meters. I also bought an LED indicator for estimated voltage and overload protection, which also burned out after a few days. As such they are not very durable on the bike and you won't see them in the bright sun. You can see clearly at night but not during the day. Also they are nice looking little sensors and will probably hold up well in a car or boat and in a shaded area in a car or boat you will see them perfectly. I think I'll try an analog meter with a shunt resistor and see if I have better luck. At least I can see it on a bike in daylight.

  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable
