Review on Sargent Art 66-2012 12-Count Dust-Free White Chalk by Amber Perez

Yes! Finally chalk that really works!

As an elementary school teacher, I've never been blown away by the Expo boards, which allow little hands to grab markers and write on my walls. Chalkboards are what I learned from and prefer. Nowadays, however, finding good quality chalk is quite an achievement! I've often used all kinds of different colored pencils. They were either too dusty, too brittle, or didn't leave a clear mark on the board, more like a faded line. After a frustrating few years of trying to find one that wrote really well on the board, I bought a box of Crayola crayons. Crayola is a great brand of paint and crayons, but they don't leave chalk marks. He doesn't write well on the blackboard. It creaks, cracks and breaks very easily. Sargent Art was my last hope. He met all my expectations. It does not create dust, it is comfortable to write on (it practically slips off your fingers), the traces are thick and bright, they do not erase. It also rubs off my board easily. Most other crayons require a few vigorous wipes to fade. Skip the brand name this time and trust Sargent Art. You won't be disappointed!

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
