Put two stars instead of one because it can work if mounted on a completely flat surface. The product is TOO expensive for the protection you get (area). Better not get confused! I have followed the instructions. Part of the strip is glued normally, but other parts are not, especially near the edges and corners. Not sure if there was too much liquid but I waited as instructed and still didn't stick to the bumper. I had to cut it (half by 4 inches) and didn't get full protection, just the edge and not the edge near the tailgate rubber. The liquid provided isn't enough, so be prepared to buy baby shampoo, distilled water, and a spray bottle. This increases your overall costs. And don't wait until you realize you need more liquid mid-application. Overall I had a bad experience with this product and its installation. Maybe it would work if you have a flat surface, maybe not if the glue doesn't stick together like in my case.
