TRU-SPEC vs. Propper

I love these pants. I bought a pair of these and a pair of Proppers. Same size. Both pants are good. There are several differences. The Propper sneakers are tapered at the ankle for a slimmer look. TRU-SPEC were bulkier at the ankle. The Propper brand is also tighter in the seat and crotch area, which isn't uncomfortable, but the TRU-SPEC is also noticeably baggier. The TRU-SPEC material is a bit softer, but I wouldn't say the propper is rough. Because of the baggy and softness, I think TRU-SPEC Proppers look more defined. Both have held up well for the last 2 months. Additional note: It's been 4 months since I've worn these two pairs alternately with regular washes. Both look in the same form as before. I noticed that both couples had their ankle cuffs dragging on the floor at some point and scratches and threads appeared in them. I don't use cuff bands and removed the bands early. The scratches appear larger on TRU-SPEC, which is to be expected since they are weaker. I also don't use boots with either one, so that's most likely the reason. 8 month update: so far so good. Both hold up well and I've used them every day. 3 things I noticed. 1: The top TRU-SPEC knob fell off about 2 months ago. I could have changed it, but I was too lazy and just tightened my belt. 2: Both pairs have side ties that tighten the waist of the pants instead of or with a belt. The Tru-Specs stay in place, but the Proppers come loose when I crouch. Speaking of squats, 3: I did some yard work the other day and it wasn't too bad when I started, but it did get wet during the day. When I sat down in the Proppers, his knees and legs were very sweaty. I assume the bolts aren't as baggy as the Tru-spec. I haven't worn the Tru-spec or squatted in it to sweat, so I can't compare them.
